History

BMJ SW s.r.o. may have come to existence in 2020, but there is a long personal history behind it.

The whole story began in 2003, when Co-Founder Mirek, started working on his pilot project for Brüel & Kjær a/s. During the following years, and throughout different projects, the level of cooperation between BMJ and HBK broadened and attracted additional contributors. Martin and Jan, the other two thirds of the company, joined in 2012 and helped establish a solid foundation for the company. It is on this foundation, that the company concept grows today.

On January 1st, 2019, Brüel & Kjær merged with the German company Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik.  Together they joined forces to form the new industry leader Hottinger Brüel & Kjær or (HBK). Out of this merger, an opportunity emerged, which eventually lead to the creation of our company as it exists today

Right away, we were awarded a long-term contract with HBK, which entrusts us to help develop and maintain its key software platforms, widely used for Sound and Vibration Measurements.
